We received CAD files for the exterior and most of the interior, although all parts needed cleaning and optimising. The filters were modelled from scratch using photographic reference.

The original project featured a genuine H13 HEPA filter, with a higher grade H14 and H13 pet options added later. The full project included 14 different purifier models in multiple colourways, viewpoints, technical cutaways of the units and exploded images for the HEPA filters.

All the modelling and scenes were built in Modo, using Vray references to import individual models into the main scene. Each reference had material tags and parts set with animation frames for the different states of each model, such as the complete unit, cutaway reveal, filter and filter deconstruction. Then the main scene was used with render passes to create multiple colour variations and viewpoints without requiring updates to the source models. Rendering was with Vray Next in Modo.
